Hi I'm Issy, a visual artist and socially engaged photographer from Cornwall, currently based in Bristol.
My practice sits between surrealism and social documentary, using imaginative and research based processes, I blend fiction with reality to create narratives deeply rooted in lived experience. Often working collaboratively, I aim to champion voice and challenge the dominant power dynamics within todays society. Through exploring themes of identity, class, power and belonging, my practice works to undermine the capitalist systems that destruct community.
