Young Lives Under Sail
Pelican of London offer young people from all backgrounds the chance to embark on Sail Training and Ocean Science voyages that empower them to grow, build character, and develop confidence, resilience, and teamwork. This documentary covers the 2026 voyage from Liverpool to Oban with a volunteer crew of young people from Liverpool and The Isle of Man.
Living and working under sail is a unique experience that asks people from various corners of the world to come together for a collective pursuit of adventure. The necessity to look outward to your peers with empathy strengthens one’s trust in others to do the same and upon reflection, can be the driving force in one’s understanding of themselves.
